Acacia melanoxylon (Acacia melanoxylon)
A densely foliaged small to large tree with dark green, leathery foliage. From winter to spring this tree is covered in a mass of rounded, cream to pale yellow, fluffy flowers.
An easy to grow, robust plant that provides winter colour. Ideal for erosion control, shelterbelts and windbreaks.
Grows well in a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well' drained soil. Tolerates light frost, coastal conditions and drought.' Water for the first 2 summers to establish this tree's root system.
