A striking ground cover, Ajuga ‘Black Scallop’ forms a dense mat of foliage in sumptuous shades of purple/brown through to black.

Individual leaves are glossy with ruffled margins adding further textural interest.

Short, deep blue flower spikes appear during Spring and summer.
