Alocasia amazonica 130 mm
Alocasias are excellent houseplants which are striking with their dramatic, and unique, two-tone leaf colouration. However, they are a truly tropical plant which means they appreciate warmth, humidity, and water.
Position: Position near bright, indirect light.
Soil: Prefers a peat based potting mix which is free draining.
Watering: Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep moist but not wet, It is better to be a little too dry than too wet.
Fertilise: Liquid fertilise in warmer weather or add slow release fertiliser to the potting mix.
Use: Suitable for pots.
Growing Tips: You may need to raise the humidity levels in a room artificially by placing the plant in a humidity tray with pebbles. Avoid direct sunlight.
CAUTION: Harmful if eaten / skin & eye irritant
