Sun tolerant azaleas are generally taller and more vigorous with masses of flowers during spring. They are suited to full sun or partial shade, free from lime. Best results achieved from mulching and frequent watering during dry periods especially if planted in full sun. Can be planted in groups to give big displays of colour, or used in a container on patio or balconies. Vigorous grower.
PREPARATION: For best results add organic matter to the containers use a premium potting mix
PLANTING: Dig a hole a little larger than the size of the pot. Soak plant in the pot thoroughly then carefully tip out of the container. Place in hole, replace soil, firm around the plant and water in well. Make sure that the top of the root ball is level with the top of the garden.
CARE: Apply mulch around plant. For best growth fertilise from October - February with slow release or liquid fertiliser.
