PRUNUS VIRGINIANA 'PURPLE JEWEL' Purple Jewel' is a stand out feature in any garden. It is a hardy, small, upright tree with beautiful red toned leaves with blue undersides that are much larger than other ornamental plum trees. An attractive creeping plant with metallic silver and purple fleshy foliage, that is great as both a trailing or hanging plant. Position near bright, indirect light in free draining potting mix. Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep soil moist but not wet, watering more in summer and less in winter. Fertilise regularly during the growing season, pruning regularly to prevent the plant from becoming too leggy.
