ASAKURA CAMELLIA
Asakura is a sun hardy sasanqua Camellia with large, semi double white flowers. Guard petals have a pale red shading at bud. Very showy and long flowering from autumn and early winter until early-mid spring.
The bush is vigorous, strong and upright. Foliage is dark green and glossy with thick texture. Plant Asakura with Pure Magic Compost or some rich compost from home. Mulch soil surface area and keep moist in drier months. Light prune after flowering in spring for shape, with the addition of some Azalea and Camellia Food.

HELLEBORUS ICE 'N' ROSES RED Helleborus x glandorfensis 'Ice 'n' Roses Red' is a mixture of the Christmas Rose (Helleborus niger) and the Lenten Rose (Helleborus x hybridus), plants whose radiant beauty gives us more enjoyment than most other winter flowering plants.
Ice 'n' Roses Red is a compact, medium sized plant with masses of flowers in late winter and early spring. It grows to 50cm wide and 40cm tall. The flowers occur in a central bunch, are outward facing and are a rich burgundy.

Dichondra argentea or 'Silver Falls' is a spectacular foliage plant with silvery leaves on long, spreading, trailing or cascading stems. Ideal in hanging baskets or tall pots, as a ground cover or cascading over retaining walls. Grow in a sunny to a partly shaded position in well-drained soil. Avoid over-watering. A spreading ground cover, cut back hard to keep plants tidy if required.

Venus flytraps are amazing plants that have evolved to be able to consume meat in the form of small flies and insects. The traps have small hairs on the inside of their ‘mouths’ which if brushed passed, cause them to snap shut. Flytraps like to be outside in a protected area with as much sunlight as possible or inside in a very sunny position or under a grow light. Flytraps like to be moist at all times so can be watered frequently or placed in a shallow saucer of water.
carnivorous plants do not require fertiliser through it can boost their growth speeds. If using, apply only 25% or less of the recommended dosage.
If repotting Venus flytraps, fertiliser and nutrient free potting medium can only be used such as peat or sphagnum moss.
The green leaves of the Chinese cabbage can be slightly peppery, the thick white ribs are sweet and juicy. The inner leaves are particularly tender and succulent. Perfect for use in a coleslaw or shredded on a sandwich or hamburger. Shredded cabbage is also a key ingredient in dumplings and rolls. Korean relish kim chee can be made from Chinese cabbage pickled in salt, garlic and chilli. It can also be used in soups, casseroles or stir fries. The leaves can be used as wrappers for other foods during steaming.
Chinese cabbage is a cool weather crop that prefers short days. It is grown and harvested in a similar way to cabbage.
Grow in full sun, well-drained and fertile soil, usually this vegetable grows best as a cool season crop. Grows to around 30cm tall; space plants about 30-40cm apart.
