Adenanthos seiceus in Silver Tin

Celebrate an Australian Christmas this year with a compact Adenanthos - our Aussie Christmas tree in a silver pot!

A medium-sized shrub or small tree with spreading branches. The soft, narrow, grey-green leaves give a silvery effect and narrow, tubular orange-red flowers appear over a long period. The highly decorative foliage makes this an ideal addition to gardens, windbreaks and coastal gardens. Can be hedged. Flowers attract nectar-feeding birds.

Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in well drained soil. Tolerant of lime. Avoid boggy, poorly drained soils. Prune after flowering to maintain compact shape.

ADENANTHOS SERICEA
The soft, narrow, grey/green leaves give a beautiful silvery effect. Tubular orange/red flowers appear from spring to autumn and can be pruned to a hedge or Christmas Tree shape, or left alone. A medium sized shrub with spreading branches.

Fireworks™ features compact blue foliage with electric pink and blue flowers.
Remove old flower stems and leaves as close to base as possible. Water only when the top of the potting mix has dried out. Watering requirements will increase when plants are in full flower. Can be brought indoors to a bright position as a decorative piece for 1-2 weeks, before being returned to its outdoor position. Great as a table centre.

Zucchini - Black Jack

Zucchini Black are in dark green colour and medium to large sized fruit. Plant in full sun postion with well draining and composted soil for optimal production. Plenty of feeding of fruit n citrus food and regular applications of Maxicrop Seaweed Fertiliser.

Zucchinis are ready to harvest after 50-60 days. Harvest when the zucchinis are still young and tender, usually around 6 to 8 inches in length. Larger zucchinis tend to be less flavourful and have more developed seeds. Keep an eye out for common pests like aphids.

Zucchinis can be susceptible to diseases such as powdery mildew. Proper spacing, good air circulation, and avoiding overhead watering can help prevent these issues. Zucchinis often benefit from being planted near companion plants like beans, corn, and radishes.

Aspidistra Elatior in Mint Pastello Cylinder Pot

Aspidistra Elatior is grown primarily as foliage houseplants due to the tough, grassy dark green leaves it produces. Make extremely handsome specimens for the home, cool glasshouse or conservatory. Tolerates low light conditions. Can be grown inside or outdoors as long as it is in a shady spot. Fertilise and clean foliage regularly to keep healthy.

We have paired the Aspidistra Elatior with a mint Pastello Cylinder Pot as the shape and light green colour very much compliment the foliage. This pot is sold separately.
