SCAVOLEA 'ELITE BLUE WIND'

An impressive Scavolea. During trials 'Elite Blue Wind' proved to be one of the most compact varieties and covered itself with profuse flushes of striking blue blooms across the whole bush. The new flowers pushed past the old ones, creating a continuous flowering period. Flowers best from October to May. Ideal for rockeries, pots and hanging baskets or a low maintenance plant for long term colour.

BRACHYSCOME FRESCO 'CANDY' & 'PURPLE'

Brachyscome Fresco 'Candy' and 'Purple' varieties have finely textured foliage and large purple flowers that last all season long. Compact and upright-mounded plants prefer full sun for the best shape and brighter larger blooms. Will still produce flowers in part shade and grow 10-15cm. Great as a ground cover or boarder plant in a traditional or native garden.

BRACTEANTHA 'ORANGE'

With large blooms of burnt orange gold which are held on tall, straight stems above a mound of attractive dark green foliage, this paper daisy offers a pop of colour to a pot or garden border. Cut flowers dry beautifully without losing their colour or shape, perfect for everlasting indoor displays.

Guichenotia macrantha

Australian native plants are renowned for their hardiness once established, and can provide a brilliant display whilst many exotic plants are out of season. Attracting colourful seed and nectar-loving birds, various insects to assist in pollination and perhaps even a lizard or skink searching for a sheltered resting place, these plants are a welcome asset to any garden.

This guichenotia features delightful purple lantern-like flowers appear in profusion from Winter to early Summer. Flowers begin rich purple and fade with age. Soft grey-green foliage.

Adaptable to most free draining, acidic soils in sun or preferably some shade. Tolerate of dry conditions and frost.

For best results tip prune young plants for bushy growth and prune back by around 1/3 after flowering. Feed with slow release fertiliser in Spring and mulch well with leaf litter or gravel.

Calathea Fasciata in Grey Carver Pot

Evergreen, clump forming habit with large, rounded leaves with predominate rib pattern. Perfect for the home or office. Prefers moist well drained soil ,rich in organic matter. Place plant indoors in dappled light or shade. Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep soil moist but not wet, watering more in the summer and less in the winter.

We have paired the Calathea Fasciata with the grey Carver Pot as the plain colour helps to amplify the green striped foliage on the calathea and the beautiful pattern makes it very interesting to feel and look at.

Chilli Range

We have a good range of hot chillis in this week including Jalapeños, Basket of Fire, Habanero, Thai Super Hot and more!
Chillis are very easy to grow in a garden bed or in a pot, as long as they get regular watering through Summer and are in a full sun position you will get lots of chillis.
