It has glossy, dark green leaves and is smothered in starry white perfumed flowers late spring to early summer. So useful in the garden to screen fences, adorn arches or an entry door and even as a ground cover. Give it a prune after the flowers finish to encourage new growth and a potential second flush. DICHONDRA 'SILVER FALLS' Silver Falls is the common name for Dichondra argentea, a low ground cover to 10cm. The name Silver Falls comes from the unique colouring of the leaves, a silvery pale green. It is especially popular in hanging baskets because of its trailing foliage and perfect for trailing over the edge of pots. It is fabulous the way it spreads and covers an area vigorously and quickly as well as for its low-maintenance nature. Best in at least a half day of sun.

Bracteantha 'Elite Series' One of the most compact and colourful native flowers, bracteantha are covered with profuse flushes of bright, papery blooms that last for months. Position in full sun to part shade, well-drained soil -- bracteanthas hate wet feet! Best flowering period is September to May but these guys will flower continuously if trimmed after a flush is completed. Ideal for garden borders, pots and mixed planters or mixed with other colours in your garden beds. Flowers can be cut and dried for small posies. Adequate water until established, then bracteantha is a very drought tolerant plant. In the cooler months, it is important that bracteanthas are kept a little drier and in a well-drained soil. When a flush has finished, or looks tatty, don't hesitate to shear to shape and it will re-flower quickly. Avoid pruning during the cold months, keeping as much follage on as possible and waiting until the warmer weather. Fertilise seasonally with organic fertiliser.
Bromeliads should be kept in a well-lit area and can do well under artificial lighting. Keep away from draughts from heaters or air conditioners. Water well when potting mix appears barely damp or dry on the surface. Keep on the dry side during winter months in colder climates. Pots have enough fertiliser for up to 12 months of growth. Plants can be trimmed of cut back to keep compact or planted into larger containers.
These Bromeliads pair perfectly with our Limoni Pot!
