Devil's Ivy 'Snow Queen'
in Teal Conner Foot Pot

Epipremnum Snow Queen, also known as "Frosty", has a trailing habit with distinctive leaf markings, making this variety an ideal houseplant. Perfect for the home or office where its magnificent and unique foliage can be admired.

Prefers well drained soil, allowing the soil to dry out between watering especially during the winter months. They are best positioned in medium light. In low light the foliage may turn darker. Protect from draughts and chilly locations.

Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep soil moist but not wet, watering more in summer and less in winter.

Sorrel - Red Veined

A compact perennial with attractive, lance shaped lime green leaves laced with dark red veins.

The tart, lemony leaves can be pulled from the base of the plant by hand, discard the stem and use the leaves to flavour soups, sauces and salads. Sorrel leaves partner well with avocado in a salad or on a sandwich. Only use the young leaves for salads and cook the older leaves.

Add some shredded leaves to scrambled eggs, omelettes and frittata:

Quinoa salad loves the tangy addition of sorrel as do seafood and tomato dishes. Stir finely shredded sorrel through a basic white sauce to give a real zing to vegetables.

Sorrel contains iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, some calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. It is astringent, cooling and diuretic. A tea from the leaves can be used to lower a fever and a poultice will help ease itchy skin conditions.

Prefers moist but well drained soil in a part to full sun position:

Height 60cm x Width 50cm
