Bacopa is a low-growing, trailing plant loved for its delicate, star-shaped flowers and soft green foliage. It blooms prolifically through the warmer months, making it a favourite for hanging baskets, pots, and ground covers. Bacopa thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers consistently moist soil. Its spreading habit and pretty blooms make it an easy-care, eye-catching addition to any garden.
These orchids thrive indoors, flourishing in sunny positions. In homes with central heating, it's advisable to position the plants near windows to expose them to temperature fluctuations. During warmer months, regular watering is essential, while in colder months, allow the soil to dry out between waterings. Fertilise with liquid plant food every 2 to 4 weeks, or alternatively, apply small amounts of slow-release fertiliser. Indoors, it's crucial to flush the pot every few months. This can be effectively accomplished by & placing the plant under a gently dripping tap for up to an hour. Under optimal conditions, a well-cultivated plant is likely to start flowering between 3 to 4 years of age.
An easy to grow hardy annual that is an essential herb for any kitchen. Dill enchances other herbs and should be added just prior to serving. Harvest regularly, the more you harvest it the longer it will last. Allow to go to flower as it attracts many beneficial insects to the garden. Mix with cucumber, coriander and yoghurt for a refreshing adition to potatoes, corn and a side dish for curries, Greek and Mexican foods. Collect the seed and use it in teas, salads, breads and dressings.
This quick growing herb like fertile moist soil in part to full sun. Will grow well in any veggie garden and also in small or large pots.
TIME TO FEED DAPHNE Complete organic fertiliser for Daphne. Made locally by Harry's Garden Products.
Harry’s Daphne Food provides both slow and fast acting nutrients. Three tablespoons are enough for a Daphne of approx. 50cm x 50cm. Potted plants require half the amount.
Adjust dosage according to plant size. Sprinkle the formula evenly around the base of your Daphne to the width of the foliage – avoiding the trunk.
