GIFTS TO GO!
Tri-Coloured and Tropical

Xanthosoma Mickey Mouse

A unique variety of Alocasia with striking creamy white and yellow variegation dappled against dark green leaves. The perfect indoor plant to add a tropical feel to your space.

Position near bright, indirect light in a peat based potting mix which is free draining.

Water when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop. Keep soil moist but not wet, watering more in summer and less in winter. Apply liquid fertiliser regularly for fresh, lush growth.

Spathiphyllum 'Domino' in Black Tapered Drum Pot

A gorgeous variegated variety of the easy-care indoor Peace Lily, Domino features beautiful white brushstrokes along its bright green leaves. It will also produce elegant white flowers as the plant matures. 'Domino' will variegate more in a brighter spot indoors. The green and white leaves contrast nicely with the matte black pot, making this plant and pot combination a great addition to any bedside table, shelf or indoor jungle, it also makes for a perfect gift!

Sorrel - Red Veined
A compact perennial with attractive , lance shaped lime green leaves laced with dark red veins.

The tart, lemony leaves can be pulled from the base of the plant by hand, discard the stem and use the leaves to flavour soups, sauces and salads. Sorrel leaves partner well with avocado in a salad or on a sandwich. Only use the young leaves for salads and cook the older leaves.
Add some shredded leaves to scrambled eggs, omelettes and frittata. Quinoa salad loves the tangy addition of sorrel as do seafood and tomato dishes. Stir finely shredded sorrel through a basic white sauce to give a real zing to vegetables.
Sorrel contains iron, vitamin A, vitamin C, some calcium, phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. It is astringent, cooling and diuretic. A tea from the leaves can be used to lower a fever and a poultice will help ease itchy skin conditions.
Prefers moist but well drained soil in a part to full sun position.
Height 60cm x Width 50cm

Brighten up the Spring garden with these beauties!

Create a fresh start for your Peaches & Nectarines

Prevent spring and summer fungal diseases such as Leaf Curl on Nectarines and Peaches by spraying with a copper fungicide NOW! Once these plants are in flower, it's too late to prevent leaf curl disease.

Copper Oxychloride is an effective broad-spectrum protectant fungicide with low risk of resistance development, due to the copper mechanisms of multiple action. Copper is actively accumulated in the fungal spores, inhibiting germination, even at very low concentrations. Choose a sunny day and apply an extensive coverage to the stems and ensure liquid runs down the stem into crevices. This is primarily a semi-dormant spray for the control of leaf curl, freckle brown rot, black spot and a number of other fungal diseases on stone fruit  such as tomatoes, citrus, grapes and some ornamentals. Controls a broad range of 20 common fungal & bacterial diseases including: bacterial canker, leaf curl, sooty blotch, melanose, early & late blight.

Expert tip. Always be sure to read the full label and follow all directions. We want it effective but not wasteful.
