Flowers are wine-red with dense cylindrical heads 20cm long in Winter, Spring and into Summer with small attractive wedge shaped leaves. CHAMELAUCIUM 'MY SWEET SIXTEEN'

Geraldton Wax 'My Sweet Sixteen' are in bloom from early Spring, masses of pure white flowers open upon a backdrop of fresh, green, fine foliage. These blooms mature to a rich red shade displaying an attractive bi-colour appearance of both white and red blooms and everything in between. A rounded shrub with waxy flowers growing to approximately 2m high and 1.5m wide. Prefers an open sunny or partly shaded position and grows in a wide range of free-draining soils. Tolerant of hot, dry conditions and has a low water requirement once established. Again excellent as a long lasting cut flower.

SCAEVOLA 'FAIRY WHITE'
We are a huge ‘fans’ of Scaevola! These gorgeous little evergreen plants are easy care and seem to flower forever, well at least from spring to autumn. The bushy foliage of 'Fairy White' forms a neat 25cm round creating a stunning border. Scaevola are native to Australia’s east coast and thrive in a variety of conditions. They are a great choice if you are looking to encourage birds and beneficial insects to your garden. They are dry tolerant once established and require a well drained soil. The plants are super low maintenance and simply dead heading to encourage more flowering.

Zucchini - Black Jack

A high yielding variety of zucchini with deep dark green skin and creamy-white flesh.

Zucchini plants prefer a sheltered position in full sun and a fertile soil that holds plenty of moisture. We recommend using organic Pure Magic Compost to enrich your soil and assist with moisture retention. Keep the soil constantly moist by watering around the plants - not over the foliage - whenever needed. Don’t forget to feed your plant with Fruit n Citrus fertiliser to promote plenty of flowers and fruit.

Harvest zucchini when they are 10-12cm long. At this length they are at their sweetest and most tender. Regular picking when they are small ensures a long cropping period over several months.

LUCERNE MULCH

4 for $80
or $21.99 each

Apart from the usual benefits of mulching, such as retaining soil moisture and keeping weeds at bay, straw mulches are fantastic for boosting the quality, water holding capacity and nutrition of your soil.
Lucerne is rich in potassium, calcium, iron and folic acid. It also increases the nitrogen in the soil. It is the quickest mulch to break down and improve the soil and would benefit from reapplication every six months.
