Bracteantha Elite Garnet  has proved to be one of the most compact varieties and covered itself with profuse flushes of papery deep red blooms. The flowers lasted for months. Best flowering is from September to May but Elite Garnet will flower continuously if trimmed after a flush is completed.. Ideal for garden borders, pots and mixed planters or mixed with other colours in the Elite range in your garden beds. Flowers can be cut and dried for small posies.

 In the cooler months, it is important that Bracteantha are kept a little drier and in well-drained soil. When Elite Garnet has finished a flush, trim to shape and it will re-flower quickly. Avoid pruning during the cold months in fact keep as much foliage on as possible and wait until the warmer weather. Fertilise seasonally with organic fertliser.
