Camellia 'Slimline Avalanche' 200 mm

White Camellias are often regarded as a symbol of purity and hope. This outstanding new Camellia is early to flower, and will flower all autumn long, producing an 'Avalanche' of double-white flowers with a hint of perfume. Plant habit is elegant, slender and upright. Will thrive in full sun or part shade. Perfect in pots, excellent for hedging and ideal as a standalone 'feature' plant.
Camellia plants grow best in well drained soils (for clay soils, mix organic material with the clay soil to improve drainage). After planting, mulch well anf water regularly until established. Once established, Camellia plants are surprisingly drought hardy. Feed with complete fertiliser (at label rates) in spring & summer. Lightly prune in early spring for shape, if required.
