VOLCANO Camellia japonica
Large, bright red, formal double blooms are borne early to mid-season on a vigorous shrub with bushy growth.
DESCRIPTION: Large, evergreen shrub with attractive, glossy, dark green, thick foliage. POSITION: Morning sun or part shade. Shelter from the hot afternoon sun and wind.
Can be planted under large trees.
SOIL: Well drained, slightly acidic soil. Before planting combine soil with organic matter and use azalea & camellia fertiliser for best results.
CARE: Keep moist especially in hot, dry weather. Mulch with compost, leaf mould or other organic matter to keep roots cool. Do not allow mulch to touch trunk. May be lightly trimmed to shape in spring.
Feed in spring and autumn or as label suggests.
