Description
Variety Profile
Unique variegated foliage and flowers. Extreme tolerance to hot and dry conditions. Flowers from late winter through spring. Compact habit. Ornamental year round. Hardy without any special needs.
Silvery foliage adds a lift to all garden designs and makes an outstanding backdrop for either hot or pastel themed plantings. Other dry tolerant plants which make attractive companions could include any blue/grey coloured succulents or Festuca grass. All members of the salvia family are suitable with colour choices ranging from pinks and reds through to purples and blues. If planted in front, other smaller growing euphorbias such as E. Craigieburn or E. Blackbird have deep, dark foliage that would complement as well as highlight the brightness of E. Silver Swan. For those seeking more romantic combinations roses, irises, heliotrope, alliums and pelargoniums are just a few of many free flowering plants that would combine happily.
Cultural Care

Pruning generally not required although spent flowering stems can be removed avoiding contact with sap. Feed in spring with a slow release fertiliser for best results.
