Grevillea 'Winter Flame' 140 mm

Winter Flame is a selected hybrid of Grevillea cross of G. alpina x G rosmarinifolia. This plant produces a spectacular mass display of multi coloured rich red / golden flowers during late winter to early spring.

POSITION: Prefers full sun though will tolerate part dappled shade. It is adaptable to most well drained moist soils, and requires summer watering when conditions are dry.

CARE: It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.

USES: Winter Flame habit is a dense small shrub that is useful in rockery plantings and can be used along pathways to create a hedge.
