Description
Liriope muscari ‘Royal Purple’ (often called lilyturf) is an excellent choice for a flower border—especially if you want something low-maintenance, evergreen, and long-lasting. Royal Purple has vivid purple flowers that sit above snappy foliage in the autumn. A bit like the flower structure of lavender, they are an ideal ground cover and border plant that are tolerant of sun and shade. Also great for underplanting and look fantastic with other glossy leaf plants and can be divided over time to produce multiple of plants. If exposed to snail damage it may need a light trim in early spring to refresh foliage.
