Description
Ophiopogon japonicus 'Nana' is the challenging botanical name. This compact and low-growing perennial ground cover is one of the most low maintenance plants for the garden or a pot. It features tufts of narrow, arching leaves that are dark green in colour and grows in dense clumps. Great as a groundcover, edging, in between pavers or as a border plant. The foliage forms a lush fine textured carpet creating contrast against other plants. Its small purple flowers are uncommon, interesting but not showy and are often hidden among the foliage. Thrives in partial shade to full shade and well-drained soil.
Grows to 10-15cm with radial spreading habit.
