During trials Elite Chocolate impressed with its large deep, dark burgundy coloured flowers sitting above green foliage.
POSITION: Full sun to part shade in well drained soil.
FLOWERING: Best flowering is spring through to autumn.
UsE: Ideal for pots, mixed planters, patios or as an addition in your garden bed in combination with other colours from the Elite range.
DURABILITY: Adequate water until established, then Elite Chocolate can tolerate dry periods, but performs best with regular drip irrigation. Protect from the harshest summer sun and heavy frost.
CARE: Very low maintenance. Remove spent flowers and trim after flowering.
Feed with organic fertiliser to encourage a new flush of blooms. During late winter prune hard to one third of original height, ready for the spring growth period.
