Pycnosorus globosus BILLY BUTTONS

This Australian native tufted perennial produces attractive foliage year round and flowers in spring. Their silver-grey foliage presents a lovely backdrop to the bright yellow, globular flower heads in late spring and summer.

Grows in most soil types providing surface drainage is good. Prefers full sun and is both drought and light frost tolerant.

Water well during the hot, dry months. Remove spent flowers to encourage further flushes.

Makes an excellent dried or cut flower
