Salvia 'Sapphire' 140 mm
During trials Elite Sapphires continually produced strong upright flowers of a stunning sapphire blue. It was long flowering and kept its shape.
FLOWERING: November to May.
POSITION: Full sun to part shade, but protect from the harshest summer sun.
USE: Ideal for garden borders, pots or mixed with other colours in the Elite range in your garden beds. Plant around fruit trees and vegetable beds to help with cross pollination.
CARE: Remove spent blooms to promote new flowers. Elite Sapphires is drought tolerant once established, but performance is improved with normal garden watering in the warmer months. In the cooler months keep drier and prune hard in early spring once the warm weather is imminent, fertilise seasonally with organic fertiliser
