Zucchini 'Black Jack'

Black jack is a highly attractive prostrate plant. Very large, dark green leaves with silver markings and abundant, long, dark green fruits. Use stuffed, roasted or fried. Try growing as a ground cover under corn and beans. Check every few days for fruit once cropping commences.

Plant your zucchini crop in a sunny position in spring / summer. Wait until the last frosts are over.

Zucchini need a minimum of a square metre per plant – so allow plenty of room. They need regular watering and additional liquid feeding now and again doesn’t go astray.

Also dont forget to feed your zucchini with slow release fertilser such as Fruit n Citrus , make sure to sprinkle at base of plant and not on the leaves as it may burn the plant in the heat.
