Basil is naturally a companion plant to tomatoes in the garden, and also goes brilliantly in the kitchen as we all know from popular dishes like pizza and pasta. They really put on a show over our archways.   Gardenia Gardenias come in a variety of different cultivars with varying height and flower colours a stark vibrant white through to yellowish cream. You'll see them around Melbourne at the moment in full flower, and the scent is absolutely delightful. Available in store from $14.99 Bacopa 'White' Surprisingly tough ground covers that prefers  a good bit of morning sun but protection in the afternoon. Flower again and again in flushes all throughout the year. Once you have some you'll want to plant them everywhere - we do!   Fresh and light summer inspiration -Carolyn    Maidenhairs are back Delicate looking wispy leaves signify this most popular indoor plant. Keep it in a tin as in this photo with a small amount of water always in the base. This will keep the humidity up and ensure it doesn't ever dry out completely on hot days. Pink flowering Rosemary   Most of us know 'usual' rosemary to have purple through to blue flowers. This beauty has light pink flowers to provide the eager gardener with something a bit new and interesting. Tomato & Vegetable Dust - dual action Caterpillars are around in copious numbers this year. Have you noticed smooth rounded munches out of leaves in plants such as lilly pilly, mint, or eggplants? This may well be mr caterpillar. This tomato dust will deal with them as well as having the added benefit of an organic fungicide. So if you notice powdery mildew on herbs you can give them a light dusting with this product.
