Stunning New Native Flowers

GRVILLEA 'COCONUT ICE'

Grevillea 'Coconut Ice' is a visually striking and relatively low-maintenance shrub that can add beauty and interest. The standout feature of 'Coconut Ice' is its striking flowers. It produces clusters of cylindrical flower spikes that can be up to 6 inches (15 cm) in length. These flower spikes are covered with creamy-white or pale pinkish-white flowers. Grevillea 'Coconut Ice' typically blooms in late winter to early spring, although it may produce some flowers sporadically throughout the year.

CORREA 'DUSKY BELLS'

An old favourite dense mounding shrub with profuse flowering from autumn through winter and on to spring. Great shrubbery plant that is a great small bird attractor. Prune straight after flowering to encourage new and more dense growth, and feed with a good native fertiliser in spring. The leaves have a pleasing citrus smell when crushed. At its best in moist but well drained soil, tolerates medium frost levels and dry spells.

FRAGRANT BORONIA

Boronia are a beautiful, and popular Australian native. These fragrant and colorful shrubs are known for their delicate blossoms, which range in hue from soft pinks and purples to vibrant oranges and yellows. Boronia is cherished for its ornamental appeal, often cultivated in gardens and appreciated for its captivating scent, making it a popular choice for both landscaping and floral arrangements.

Boronia size differs amongst types, though most will grow to around 1-1.5m in height and width. Full sun to part shade is ideal.

Birdnest Fern in LifeStyle Pink Pot

These cultivars are the slowest growing of all the Birdnest ferns. They have a compact growth habit and will do very well for indoor use in pots or gardens. They will not require much maintenance and can be kept small and compact for some time. They will also do exceptionally well in pots in most places indoors, or outdoors in shade.

Water well if kept in pots but sparingly in terrariums; potting mix must be allowed to almost dry between waterings. Keep in some direct sunlight or provide artificial light. Avoid heaters and draughty positions.
Fertiliser should be only used if you would like the plant to grow. Lack of fertiliser will keep plants shorter and more compact.

Temperatures above 20° will speed up growth, between 10° and 20° growth will be extremely slow and plants can be pruned to keep compact. This Birdnest Fern is hardy and can also be kept outdoors in colder climates. Avoid overwatering in winter.

Spathiphyllum Peace Lily

Spathiphylum is regarded as one of the most popular indoor plants because of its beautiful lush dark green leaves and its crisp white lily looking flower.
Place in a medium to low light position, watering when soil feels dry or plant starts to droop.
Keep soil moist but not wet, watering more in summer and less in winter. Liquid fertilise in warmer weather or add slow release fertiliser to the potting mix.

Olive Herb
An easy to use herb that enhances other herbs and flavours. It should be added just prior to serving or early in the cooking. Excellent as a garnish to salads, main courses and appetisers.

This quick growing herb likes fertile moist soil in part to full sun. Will grow in any veggie garden and makes an excellent low border. Harvest/prune regularly to keep a nice compact hedge and give regular applications of Maxicrop Seaweed Fertiliser.
