BRING ON THE SUN!
Summer is just around the corner so this combination will love the hot weather with little water

LIMONIUM 'ELITE BLUE'
Very hardy and outstanding perennial for water wise gardens. Tall clusters of tiny, deep mauve flowers are produced throughout much of the year. Ornamental foliage is evergreen and forms an attractive, rounded mound. Can be mass planted for low maintenance areas or low, edging borders.
Performs best in a full sun position in most soil types which are well draining.
Apply a complete fertiliser during early spring and remove spent blooms after main flowering to tidy and encourage further displays.

Ideal for use in coastal gardens, rockeries and perennial borders. Foliage forms a crown of large, leathery leaves that offer textural interest in garden plantings year round and should not be overlooked as a feature on its own. Creating large groups of 3-5 plants or borders of this limonium will result in low maintenance feature all year long.
Flowers are terrific for use in both fresh or dry floral arrangements retaining their colour over a long period.
Containers, small or narrow spaces.

SCAEVOLA 'ELITE BLUE'

We are a huge ‘fans’ of Scaevola! These gorgeous little evergreen plants are easy care and seem to flower forever, well at least from spring to autumn. Scaevola are native to Australia’s east coast and thrive in a variety of conditions. They are a great choice if you are looking to encourage birds and beneficial insects to your garden. They are dry tolerant once established and require a well drained soil. The plants are super low maintenance and simply dead heading to encourage more flowering.

Argyranthemum 'Colossus Raspberry Ice'

One of the more compact varieties of argyranthemum, Colossus Raspberry Ice covers itself in profuse flushes of big blooms with continual buds and flowers pushing through.
Position in full sun to part shade, protect from the harshest summer sun. The best flowering is from spring through to autumn; water adequately until established. Once established Colossus Raspberry Ice will tolerate dry periods but will perform best with regular watering, particularly drip irrigation.
After blooms have finished or when becoming overgrown, prune to shape and liquid fertilise for quick re-flowering. Avoid extreme heat while doing so to avoid sunburn. Mulch and fertilise with organic fertiliser seasonally.

Tom's Tiny Indoor Combo of the Week!
Tillandsia in Confetti Pot

Tillandsia, commonly known as air plants, are unique epiphytes that grow without soil. They absorb water and nutrients through tiny scales on their leaves, relying on air, light, and occasional misting or soaking for survival. They come in various shapes and textures, often producing colourful blooms. Air plants are popular for their low maintenance, versatility and ability to be displayed creatively in terrariums, mounted arrangements or hanging designs.

Martin's Edible Pick of the Week
Passionfruit

A fast growing evergreen climbing vine, Black Passionfruit (Passiflora edulis) makes an ideal choice to quickly cover a trellis or to hide an unsightly back fence. Producing black fruit from Summer to Autumn, the small to medium sized, round fruit have a tangy, tart pulp inside, and are sweeter if left on the vine to fully ripen and become wrinkled.

Recommended for gardens with coarse or sandy soils, non grafted Passionfruit are less likely to sucker and spread as the Grafted varieties can do if they are stressed or in difficult ground. Non Grafted Passionfruit are more suited to warmer climates and definitely need a frost free position to grow to their best. Plant in a sunny, well-drained position, preferably where the vine is protected from the wind as this can impede pollination and fruit set. Fertilising will also assist with fruit and flower production, grab a bag of Fruit n Citrus to help.
