GIFTS TO GO!
The Bells Are Ringing!
Pieris Temple Bells

Small, evergreen shrub with a showy display of large, creamy white, bell-shaped flowers in late spring. New foliage is light green, becoming reddish bronze and maturing to a deep emerald green.

Ideal as a specimen plant or planted en-masse in beds and borders. Also makes an attractive container plant.

Prefers a partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Frost tolerant. Prune for shape after flowering. Likes a slightly acidic soil. Mulch well and keep moist.

Calathea fasciata in Green Cylinder Pot

An evergreen, foliage plant featuring large rounded leaves with a variegated rib pattern of contrasting greens. Perfect for the home or office. Position in a bright spot indoors but not in direct sunlight. Allow soil to dry out between watering. Liquid fertilise with Maxicrop especially in the warmer months to encourage new growth.

Native Limes

Citrus gems are a group of adaptable. quirky trees , uniquely Australian and tolerant of a wide range of condtions. They are suited to both pot and gardens. All citrus gems are grafted onto citrus rootstock, whcih ensures plant health, viguor and increases  the plants ability to produce abundant crops of fruit from an early age.

Desert lime
A high yielding tree that produces grape sized, lemon like fruit with a wild taste of lime. Desert limes usually appear in summer. The sweet tangy fruit has a very thin skin and requires no peeling, just slice it or use the whole fruit to make a zesty lime pickle or marmalade- macerate fruit in sugar syrup or pop one into your icy cold beer for an Australian twist on a Mexican tradition. Desert limes are extraordinary tolerant of dry conditions.
Judys Everbearing
Judy's everbearing produces cylindrical, finger sized shaped fruits , from summer into autumn, and it is not uncommon to have occasional fruit appear through out the year. Judy's everbearing produces excellent crops of tasty finger limes, with a very dark green skin, full of glistening citrus pearls.
Australian Sunrise Lime
Sunrise lime is a cross between a finger lime and a calamondin and produces an elegant pear-shaped golden fruit that is juicy and sharp in flavour. The fruit can be eaten whole as the skin and pith is sweet. Sunrise lime is a winter fruiting citrus.
Byron lime
Byron sunrise lime is a narrow upright, small growing tree that you can expect to grow to around 2 metres and less than 1 metre wide.
Produces very plump, finger limes with a dark rind that are filled with exquisite, tangy tasting, pink rose coloured citrus pearls. The citrus pearls of Byron sunrise become darker in colour and deeper in flavour intensity when the fruit has been cut and exposed to the air.
Byron sunrise performs best in full sun, sheltered position and is ideally suited to pots and container gardens. The fruit of Byron sunrise matures in Autumn.

NEW SEASON TOMATOES HAVE ARRIVED
The first of the warm weather veggies have arrived, including tasty tomatoes!
Prepare your spring veggie beds by boosting up your soil quality with Pure Magic Compost, feed with Organic Fertiliser Pellets and keep the weeds at bay with Lucerne Mulch, which also adds lots of nitrogen and good bacteria to your soils.

Tomato and Vegetable Dust
Keep tomatoes and other new veg healthy!
Tomato Dust is very effective for killing caterpillars, while leaving other insects alone, and only 24h is needed after dusting before you can pick and eat your edibles. Also deals with fungus like powdery mildew which can be around whilst it is still cooler weather.

EXPERT TIP- Avoid using Tomato Dust if there are a lot of bees in the area/on the flowers of the plants you are dusting. We use it a dusk once the bees have gone to bed.
