FRESH WHITES SILVER & YELLOW FOR SPRING
If you're passionate about attracting pollinators to your garden this trio is perfect for you.

Philotheca (Eriostemon) 'Flower Girl'
When I was growing up we had a border of Eriostemon (now called Philotheca) growing on the edge of the lawn. I could hear the buzz of busy bees when the weather began to improve as we played outside.
A beautiful small growing shrub which flowers for a long period throughout winter and spring. The deep pink buds open to soft pink star-shaped flowers borne in clusters along the stems. This 1m shrub loves the sun or semi shade. It's coastal and frost hardy meaning you can plant just about anywhere.
An ideal plant for gardens, patios or tubs. Prune lightly after flowering.

Bracteantha 'Mohave White'
Have you felt the crisp crackle of the paper daisy flowers? Mohave White is a native paper daisy with vivid white flowers with a golden yellow centre . With a very long flowering season, this compact plant to 35cm high is suited to sunny pots and garden beds. Once established they are heat and drought tolerant.

Chrysocephalum apiculatum 'Silver Sunburst'
A new comer Silver Sunburst is a selected form of Chrysocephalum apiculatum which produces an abundance of dainty bright golden button flowers in clusters above the broad silver foliage from spring to early summer. It forms a mounding ground cover 30cm x 30cm

Grows best in full sun and will tolerate part shade and coastal conditions. It is adaptable to most well drained moist soils, and requires summer watering when conditions are very dry, will tolerate light frost. Ideal for rockery plantings and can be used along pathways to create a colourful low level border. This plant requires little maintenance other than the removal of spent flowers.

Scindapsus ‘Green Dragon’ in Orchid Pot Matt Black

This Scindapsus variety named ‘Green Dragon’ is similar to traditional devil’s ivy, instead with entirely green vibrant leaves. Green Dragon Scinapsus is such an easy indoor plant, position in a bright room and ensure the soil dries out slightly between watering. The bright green leaves are highlighted against the matte black of this classic rounded pot.

Argyranthemum Sugar Cheer and Super Chameleon

Argyranthemum's are a beautiful outdoor plant that love full, direct sun in order to maximise flower growth. They mainly flower from September to May and can grow to be 60cm tall when well established. The argyranthemum plant comes in many colours from pinks to yellows and bring a great burst of colour to any outdoor space. They are great for planting in the ground or pots alike as long as they get adequate sun light.

Quick Cropping Asian Greens

Komatsuna

This is a classic leafy Japanese vegetable often called Japanese Mustard Spinach. It is a fast-growing vegetable and can be grown all year round in Melbourne.
This versatile vegetable partners well with simple herbs like parsley, chives, onions but also goes well with Asian type flavours like laksa leaf, coriander, ginger, garlic and chilli.
This is a real multi tasking vegetable that can be used in salads, stir fries and steamed as a side dish. Use in salads with a mixture of sweet herbs like mint, lime verbena and lime juice. Healthy vegetable that is high in iron.

Plant in sunny position in well drained but moist soil. Also suited to large pots. Cultivation/Fertiliser: Harvest young leaves regularly and remove
flower stems as they appear. The more you harvest the better it produces.
Fertilise with Maxicrop regularly.

Tatsoi

A compact growing annual with attrative ruffled green leaves.
Like most leaf vegetables it it high in Vitamins C & K and Potassium, Iron and Calcium. It is best eaten raw in salads and sandwiches but also performs well in stirfries and lightly steamed. Toss in wok with fresh Broccoli florets, soy sauce and ginger marmalade. Can also be added to soups and stews.

Prefers moist but well drained soil in a part to full sun pposition. Will tolerate heavy frosts. Fertilise with Maxicrop in spring, summer and autumn. Harvest when leaves are about 20cm long. Excellent for repeat harvesting and the more you use it the better it will perform.
