Lettuce Mignonette Mix

Lettuce 'Mignionette' is an excellent garden variety suitable for planting almost anytime, producing small loose hearts surrounded by few outside leaves. It thrives in cooler weather and benefits from partial shade, especially in hot summers. To ensure optimal growth, prepare the lettuce bed with a rich compost like Pure Magic, frequently use a liquid fertilizer like Maxicrop, and mulch with Lucerne. Adequate watering is crucial due to lettuce's shallow roots, requiring frequent irrigation, particularly in hot or windy conditions. Snails pose a significant threat, using a low impact snail bait like Multiguard will ensure a good crop
