Flowers are for a season
but foliage is forever
Sprays of white flowers and contrasting foliage make this weeks trio a fresh combination.
Hardenbergia 'Free and Easy'
With its vigorous climbing habit it is a useful plant for covering pergolas trellises and fences or simply allow it to spread into a creeping ground cover. Hardenbergia Free n Easy has glossy green leaves and the flowers are a delicate pale lavender to white colour.
Phormium 'Black Rage'
This dramatic clump forming plant produces striking dark burgundy-almost black, upright foliage and is guaranteed to provide both form and colour for the garden.
Cineraria 'Cirrus'
Cineraria ‘Cirrus’ is a tender shrub, usually grown as a half-hardy annual foliage plant. Its young leaves are slightly lobed, a bit like oak leaves, but as the plants mature they become deeply cut, much paler in colour and are covered in a silvery grey fleece. It’s perfect for growing at the front of a border, and also as part of a container display. It works particularly well with bold-coloured plants, with which its foliage contrasts well.
