Perennial Basil is in flower right now!

Beneficial insects love this plant and will come to your garden just to visit it. This tasty plant is both practical and beautiful. Even better, you don't need to plant it each year, like the annual variety. Give it a prune after flowering and it will keep you in ready supply of basil all year round. Find out more

Cacti & Succulents Inside
A majority of cacti & succulents really require bright light inside. The best place is just beside a window sill. Keep in mind succulents come from arid climates so watering should be kept to a minimum.
We are always being asked " how much do I water"? That really depends on sun, temperature, heating and air flow. Every home home is different.
TIP- IF IT STILL FEELS HEAVY, DON`T WATER. Lift the pot after you water. It will feel heavy, full of water. Then lift the pot before you water the next time.
IF IN DOUBT, DON`T WATER. There will be water below the surface, but it looks dry on top. Cacti and succulents have there own water storage reserves. To much water causes them to rot.
Euphorbia trigona is one of the most unusual and interesting cactus that could be grown inside or out  Find out more
