A spring of contrast!
Japanese Maple 'Inaba Shidare'
Create a feature with Acer palmatum 'Dissectum Inaba Shidare'. The foliage appears delicate yet can be a vigorous and sturdy, upright growing Japanese maple with a cascading form. It retains its larger, intricate crimson-burgundy foliage well throughout the season. They do not bronze out in late season as do other red dissectums. Height to 1.8m
Arthropodium 'Matapouri Bay'
Fabulous for underplanting trees, Arthropodium offer a wonderful white floral display, in spring to summer. The lush blue green foliage requires little water once established and offers great contrast to burgundy foliage of the maple and azaleas. Matapouri Bay grows to 90cm and is a great allrounder as it can grow from full sun to shade.
Azalea 'Shiraz'
A very hardy, compact, bushy azalea with dramatic foliage colour and single red flowers during spring. This azalea is ideal for mass planting to give a dramatic display and can even be clipped as a hedge. It will take full sun to part shade and can grow to 1m.
