POP OF SPRING COLOUR!
Australian Natives offer detailed flowers drawing our eye as well as native birds and pollinators

 CALLISTEMON 'INJUNE'

INJUNE is a Bottlebrush with pendulous, grey-green foliage and masses of pale pink flowers which fade to white, both-colours being seen on the shrub at the same time. Useful as feature shrub and forms an excellent screen. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds. Trim after flowering to maintain a neat habit, leaving a few flowers unpruned to allow the attractive nuts to form. Flowers best when grown in full sun. Tolerates most soils and conditions, including coastal exposure.

FULL SUN H 2-3M

CORREA 'JETTY RED'
Jetty Red is excellent for use as a garden border, specimen pot plant or as low level planting to brighten up shady areas in the garden. It is a selected compact form of Correa reflexa. This plant produces striking bright red bell shaped flowers from autumn and continues through to spring. Grows well in both a semi-shaded site and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and it is excellent to use in coastal gardens. This plant is suitable for temperate climates, and once this plant is established Jetty Red will tolerate dry conditions. Correas requires little maintenance other than a tip prune to promote a more compact plant. It is best to initially feed with a slow release native fertiliser to help establish the plant.
Jetty Red is excellent for use as a garden border, specimen pot plant or as low level planting to brighten up shady areas in the garden.

GREVILLIA 'JELLY BABY'
A dense low mounding groundcover with massed jelly-pink flowers covering the soft grey foliage from late winter to summer. Flowers constantly attract honeyeating birds. Outstanding combined with bold rockwork, as a low maintenance container plant for patio, deck or balcony; mass planted along pathways, or as contrast with darker foliage.

DOUBLE LAVENDERS

This world first double lavender is a beautiful breakthrough in lavender breeding. While regular lavenders have just a few wings at the top of each flower, double lavenders have fragrant, gorgeous wings all the way down the flower head.

They will do the best in Spring but still look stunning all year round. Grow in a well drained, sunny position. Feed in Spring and summer & prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape.

Zanzibar Gem 'Jungle Warrior' in Pink Orchid Pot

Commonly called the ZZ plant, Zamioculus Zamiifolia loves low light and has low water requirements so it can handle a bit of neglect. Jungle Warrior's bright lime green leaves and stem turn black as the individual shoot matures. The gorgeous dark black leaves will create a great contrast in your indoor jungle.

Suitable for use in rooms with no natural light. Do not overwater. Can be fed with liquid fertiliser every second month.

Bean bonaparte
Bean Bonaparte are a dwarf, stringless, straight bean with lush green pods and purple seeds. They're easy to grow and perfect for the backyard gardener. They can be eaten fresh for an added crunch to salads, boiled, stewed or lightly stir-fried.
Fruiting from July to October, requires full sun in moist but well drained composted soil.

Tomato and Vegetable Dust
Keep tomatoes and other plants caterpillar free!
Tomato Dust is very effective for killing caterpillars, while leaving other insects alone, and only 24h is needed after dusting before you can pick and eat your edibles. Also deals with fungus like powdery mildew which can be around whilst it is still cooler weather.

EXPERT TIP- Plants to watch out for caterpillar damage this week include Roses, Mint-family herbs, Azaleas, Gardenias, Salvia and of course Tomatoes
