During trials at Sellicks Beach, these blue Aquilegia were the most compact varieties and produced interesting colour combinations of bi-colour flowers. Plant in partial shade, providing protection from the hottest sun. Aquilegia prefer soil rich in organic matter and with good drainage. Flowering all through spring elegant bi-coloured flowers are produced on long slender stems.
The neat mounding habit makes them ideal to be planted in groups underneath trees, in rockeries, along borders or in pots. They make great early spring colour for cottage gardens and their elegant foliage and flowers will soften garden beds.
During trials, Elite Orchid impressed with its unusual colours. Unlike any other, it also showed good weather tolerance and long flowering ability. Position in full sun to part shade. Ideal for garden borders, hanging baskets, under other shrubs as a groundcover. Adequate water until established, then tolerates dry periods, but performs best with drip irrigation. Best kept protected from the harshest summer sun. Elite Orchid thrives with little care during cooler months, just remove spent flowers. Trim to shape after a full flush to encourage quick regrowth, but avoid hot weather to do so. Fertilise seasonally with an organic fertiliser or liquid feed regularly for best results.
An outstanding new fern with a unique wavy leaf margin that gives the plant a voluminous appearance. The foliage takes on a gorgeous glaucous colouring as the plant matures. Requires moderate watering once established. Take into consideration growing conditions and your interior space. Always water directly to the potting mix, avoid water droplet contact with the foliage. Keep away from direct sunlight whilst providing ample ambient light.

Peaches and nectarines grow really well in Melbourne as we have the perfect mild climate and a nice cold winter. If you live in a frost prone area make sure you cover them with a shade cloth to protect the leaves.
Nectarines and Peaches will require plenty of sun and also plenty of organic matter in the soil. So grab a bag of compost before planting .
To get good large fruit, thin excess fruit after fruit set and keep the tree well watered as fruit is growing. Thinning fruit also helps avoid brown rot.
For eating, peaches and nectarines are best left on the tree until ripe as their flavour is far more intense. Fruit picked while firm is fantastic for cooking and will still ripen away from the tree.
