Hardy beauties that will love a full sun areas of the garden. This combination takes advantage of unique flower shapes and foliage colour, providing interest all year around. They are all starting to flower now and will flourish into into the hottest of summer weather.
Osteospermum 'Purple Spider'
Osteospermum 'Spider' is a low growing, spreading shrub with bright purple flowers. It thrives in the local sandy soils of Glenhuntly when given some compost at planting. Unique flower faces give the 'spider' like appearance and thus the name.
Euphorbia 'Silver Swan'
Euphorbia 'Silver Swan' is one of our toughest plants for a full sun spot. Foliage is a variegated grey green with silver edges and spiking. Spikes of cream flowers appear late winter through spring. Foliage and flowers can be cut and used in a vase with other cut flowers.
Scaevola 'Fairy White'
Scaevola is an Australian native ground cover which provides thick coverage to discourage weed growth. Plant at the edge of a rockery or in a pot to take advantage of its free branching form, as foliage will spill over nicely. Pretty petite white flowers cover branches many months of the year.
