Carpobrotus rossii (Carpobrotus rossii)

Carpobrotus rossit is a hardy low growing ground cover
that has thick*fleshy green foliage with large rich mauve
flowers. The daisy-like flowers cover the plant during spring
through to autumn making an eye-catching display. Perfect for dry
rock embankments, borders, massed displays and also ideal for
containers. Carpobrotus is one of those plants that will thrive in all sunny
areas and excellent for those hot spots where little else survives, including
coastal and drought affected areas. Requires protection from severe frosts.
May be pruned in spring and will benefit from an application of slow release
fertiliser twice a year.
