Its masses of attractive flowers are in full bloom for Canberra's birthday on 12 March each year.  With stunning two-tone red and cream bell-like flowers they offer a wonderful floral display into winter. Prefers morning sun and suitable to part shade. It is adaptable to most well drained soils and tolerates periods of dry conditions once established.
