A highly variable species with many varieties differing in habit and flower colour. From mid winter to late spring this shrub produces a profusion of tubular flowers, from white to red and yellow.
ideal for dry, hot spots in the garden. Prune after flowering to promote compact growth. Prefers heavier soils but will grow in sandy soils.
