Hellebores have handsome glossy divided foliage, are drought tolerant once established and are ideal mass planted under trees.

Height and spread: 45cm x 45cm.
Position: Semi-shade to full shade. Ideal under and around deciduous trees and shrubs. Best in well-drained fertile garden soil that has hadorganic matter added. Flowering period: June to September.
Maintenance: Remove old foliage and fertilise in autumn, mulch in spring.
