Umbrella Plant (Schefflera 'Amate')
A beautiful indoor plant with oval shaped follage arranged into the shape of an umberella. This plant is a great compliment to any indoor environment, bringing a tropical feel right into the home or office. The bright green foliage is well complimented by a white coloured pot such as the white sack pot as it brings out the glossy leaves as well as their bright green colour.
The umbrella tree prefers well drained soil which is to be dried out between waterings. Liquid feed during the warmer months. Filtered, indirect light is also ideal for the best results. Umbrella plants can be cut back to maintain a smaller or more bushy apperence though will grow to around 15m if allowed to do so in a larger pot.
