Telopea 'Waratah Mallee Boy' 200 mm
Telopea 'Mallee Boy' is a new, naturally bushy form with multi-branching stems from the base. From spring, brilliant pink flowers cover the plant. 'Mallee Boy' will flower early, within à year or two from establishment. This is an attractive, low-maintenance feature plant that is suitable for growing as a hedge or single specimen plant.

Care:
Thrives in fertilised, well-draining acidic soils. Low water requirements once established. Deep soaking during extended periods will be beneficial. Suitable for growing in full sun in cooler temperate climates; in hot temperate areas, part shade will be best. Prune by one third after flowering for future blooms and vigour. Do not feed young telopeas at the time of planting, allow plants to establish prior to feeding. Once settled, apply native slow-release fertiliser if-autumn and spring.
